It wasn’t too long ago that we were reporting news of London Horror Con and all the wonderful guests attending at the end of June.
As quickly as that post went up the event has sadly had to be rescheduled until September with this official notice on their FB page:
Due to unforeseen circumstances, it is with careful consideration that ‘London Horror Con 2018’, scheduled to take place on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July 2018 will be postponed to Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd September 2018. The current venue is continuing to support the event and will accommodate the new dates.
The event is NOT cancelled; we are simply changing the date.
We will be offering all current ticket-holders a 50% reduction on their ‘London Horror Con 2019’ ticket purchases when they go on sale. All current purchases made for both tickets and photo opportunities are still valid for the new dates.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you and hope that you can understand that our reasons for doing this are genuine.
Naturally, this announcement left a bit of a sour taste in many con goers mouths but another announcement was made this week that may soften the blow somewhat. The first UK screening of Death House will take place at the convention and from the glimpses i’ve seen before release I can tell you it’s a tonne of bloody good fun!
Hopefully the cast of the movie will be in attendance as this would be a nice way to make it up to the fans who were looking forward to an end of June frightfest!
Stay tuned for more news and updates regarding London Horror Con in the months to come!
