Warcraft Takes $46m At The Chinese Box Office

Warcraft: The Beginning, the adaptation of the video game World of Warcraft has taken China by storm with a first days takings of $46m the second biggest in the country’s history after Fast 7 which brought in $63.1m in it’s first 24 hours back in 2015. h

Blowing the projected US release out of the water, the success is down to the video games popularity in the country and it’s projected to continue.

These mind blowing figures have also boosted the possibility of a sequel, widely panned by critics it seems as thou the public have spoken, albeit the Chinese public.
